Board of Directors - Peter Palmer
Dr. Peter Palmer , PhD. is an angel investor with over thirty years of computer industry experience. After starting his career with ICL (International Computers Ltd) in computer system development and management, Dr. Palmer founded and developed several start-up companies, and is now an active investor and mentor to small companies. His particular skill and delight is applying a deep understanding of systems and markets to solving the specific challenges of market, product, and company development in a small company. This often includes management and team development.
Dr. Palmer founded Spider Systems Ltd, which became the largest independent networking company in Europe, and was sold to Shiva in 1995. He also founded AXON Networks Inc., which was sold to 3Com in 1996. AXON was a market leader in the distributed monitoring and management of networks. More recently, Dr. Palmer was a major facilitator in the development of Giganet Inc., with its subsequent sale to Emulex in 2001, and in Kurzweil Educational Systems, Inc, sold in 2005. Dr. Palmer is a Director of DYS Analytics Inc. and Incipient Inc.
