Nellymoser Develops Mobile User Experience for Airport Campaign

DFW International Airport launched a mobile campaign this month aimed at providing holiday travelers with special offers and discounts from airport concessionaires. The campaign, which runs through January 1, 2012, was developed in collaboration with Boston-based mobile engagement company, Nellymoser Inc. and uses Microsoft Tag technology.

To take advantage of special offers, travelers use their smartphone cameras to scan Microsoft Tag barcodes on special holiday signs located throughout the airport including terminals, parking garages, entryways ticketing halls, and on the Skylink people mover cars. After the scan, they are then presented with special coupons and deals that are valid at local concession areas.

“DFW’s mobile campaign provides travelers with valuable deals that they can redeem right away at nearby stores and restaurants,” said John Puterbaugh, CEO of Nellymoser. “It’s a great way to reward travelers at the moment they may be considering a purchase.”

Nellymoser’s design and creative services produced the mobile user experience using the Nellymoser Mobile Engagement Platform. This platform detects the phone, network, and speed in real-time to create the best possible presentation on virtually any mobile device. In addition, Nellymoser is providing detailed analytics on the mobile campaign.
