When Jessica Stam launched her mini-collection for the RACHEL Rachel Roy line at Macy’s, she wanted to create excitement and get the word out. Print advertising was augmented with great looking video to increase interest in her collection. A sweepstakes added even more. The winner would win the entire clothing line.
For the consumer, the videos and sweepstakes registration were available immediately via their mobile phone. The consumer could register for the sweepstakes as soon as they had learned about it – anywhere and anytime.
In addition to added excitement, RACHEL Rachel Roy was able to stay in touch with those who registered for the contest with the optional email list opt-in. They could send more information and special offers to those who were most interested.
